Skin Wellness
The gold standard in injectable precision.
Real-time imaging for safer, more accurate injections, every time.
WHAT IT IS
Ultrasound-guided injections use real-time, high-resolution imaging to visualize the structures beneath your skin including blood vessels, fat pads, and tissue layers) before and during treatment.
At Biolite Wellness, this technology is available as a premium add-on for patients receiving dermal fillers, Sculptra, dissolvers, or complex correction cases. It is supervised by Medical Director Alex Fazeli, M.D.
Who It’s For
Ultrasound guidance is recommended as an add-on for patients in any of the following situations:
What to Expect
Discuss your goals, treatment history, and whether ultrasound guidance is recommended for your specific anatomy and plan.
The ultrasound probe maps your vascular pathways, fat pads, and tissue planes before any product is introduced.
Your injector proceeds with live imaging guidance, adjusting placement in real time for maximum safety and precision.
Standard injectable aftercare applies. Results are refined and natural, with lower risk of complications or revision.
Is ultrasound guidance necessary for all filler treatments?
Not always, but it is strongly recommended for high-risk areas, complex corrections, and patients with significant prior treatment history. Your provider will advise whether it is appropriate during your consultation!
Does it cost extra?
Yes. Ultrasound-guided injections are a premium service add-on. The additional fee of $100 reflects the advanced technology, training, and time required to perform imaging-guided treatment safely.
Does ultrasound guidance make the treatment take longer?
Slightly. The facial mapping and imaging process adds additional time to your appointment, but this is time well spent — it is what allows your provider to treat with precision and confidence.
Is it painful?
The ultrasound probe itself is completely painless — it simply rests against the skin. Topical numbing is applied prior to any injections, as with all our injectable treatments.
