Pre-Treatment Care

Aftercare

• Do not massage or manipulate treated areas unless instructed.
• Sleep with your head elevated the first evening if facial swelling occurs.
• Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat, hot tubs, saunas, and prolonged sun exposure for 24–48 hours.
• Avoid makeup until the following day.
• Avoid facial treatments, massage, lasers, or microneedling for approximately two weeks unless directed otherwise.
• Use gentle skincare and wear sunscreen daily.
• Mild firmness or irregularity may be felt initially and generally softens as healing progresses.

Contraindications

PRF Bio-Gel may not be appropriate for patients who:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have active infection at the treatment site
• Have blood disorders affecting platelet function
• Have severe anemia
• Are undergoing chemotherapy or have certain active cancers
• Have uncontrolled autoimmune disease (provider discretion)
