Overview

This treatment is designed to elevate traditional facial results by pairing mechanical exfoliation with a controlled chemical exfoliation. The DiamondGlow® component deeply cleanses pores and infuses medical-grade serums, while the SkinCeuticals MicroPeel 15 helps accelerate cell turnover and improve overall skin tone and texture.

Glow Boost is considered an advanced treatment and is best suited for patients who have prior experience with chemical peels or have been evaluated and approved by a provider.

What to Expect

• Procedure Time: approximately 45–60 minutes
• You may experience a mild tingling or warming sensation during the peel portion
• Skin may appear slightly pink immediately after treatment
• Most patients experience little to no visible peeling
• Mild dryness, tightness, or light flaking may occur around days 2–3
• Makeup can typically be worn the following day unless otherwise advised

Pre-Treatment Care

• Discontinue retinol, tretinoin, AHAs/BHAs, exfoliating acids, scrubs, and other exfoliants for at least 7 days prior
• Avoid waxing, laser treatments, or other aggressive procedures in the treatment area for 1 week prior
• Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning
• Notify your provider of any recent skin treatments, medications, or sensitivities

Aftercare

• Keep skin well hydrated with a gentle moisturizer
• Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ or higher daily
• Avoid direct sun exposure for several days post-treatment
• Do not pick, peel, or exfoliate the skin
• Avoid retinol, acids, and exfoliating products for 5–7 days after treatment
• Avoid heat exposure (saunas, hot yoga, steam rooms) for 24–48 hours

Contraindications

Do not proceed if you:

• Are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
• Are taking or have recently taken Accutane (isotretinoin)
• Have active severe acne, open lesions, infections, or compromised skin barrier
• Have known hypersensitivity to peel ingredients
• Have not been cleared by a provider for chemical peel treatments

Additional Notes

• Suitable for Fitzpatrick skin types I–VI
• Recommended frequency: every 4–6 weeks
• Best results are achieved through a series of treatments combined with a consistent at-home skincare regimen
• Prior experience with chemical peels is recommended; first-time peel patients may require provider approval
