Overview

The DiamondGlow® facial is an advanced, non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment that exfoliates, extracts, and infuses the skin in one step. Using a diamond-tipped wand, it removes dead skin cells while delivering customized SkinMedica® serums to target concerns like fine lines, acne, dryness, hyperpigmentation, and uneven texture

What to Expect

• Procedure Time: 45–60 minutes
• Post-Treatment: Skin may be a little pink or red depending on skin sensitivity of patient. Some patients may purge post treatment just due to debris coming to the surface from the treatment
• Results: Noticeable improvements immediately after treatment. Patient's note immediate "glow" to skin

Pre-Treatment Care

• Arrive with clean skin; avoid makeup if possible.
• Stop using retinol, exfoliants, anything that contains Vitamin C/AHA/BHAs or active skincare products at least 1 week prior to treatment.
• Avoid waxing, chemical peels, lasers or aggressive treatments to the area for at least 2 weeks before.
• Notify your provider of any skin conditions, oral/topical medications, or allergies.

Aftercare

• Mild redness or sensitivity is normal and should subside within a few hours.
• Avoid retinol, exfoliants, Vitamin C/AHA/BHAs, or strong active products for at least 1 week minimum to retain integrity of skin.
• Keep your skin hydrated with gentle moisturizers.
• Use broad-spectrum SPF daily to protect your skin and maintain results.
• Makeup may typically be applied the next day unless otherwise advised.

Contraindications

Do not proceed if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have active skin infections or inflammation
• Have bleeding disorders or take blood thinners
• Have history of keloids or poor wound healing

• Can be combined with serums for enhanced results
• Requires a series of treatments for optimal effects
