Pre-Treatment Care

• Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, and other blood-thinners 48 hours before
• Discontinue use of retinols or active skincare for 3 days prior
• Come in well-hydrated and makeup-free
• Inform your provider about any previous fillers or facial surgeries

Aftercare

• Do not apply pressure or massage the cheeks for 48 hours
• Avoid sleeping on your side or face for at least two nights
• Skip exercise, alcohol, and high heat exposure for 24–48 hours
• Use cold compresses if needed for swelling (no direct ice)
• Resume skincare and makeup after 24 hours unless otherwise directed

Contraindications

Cheek filler may not be safe if you:

• Are pregnant or nursing
• Have a history of severe allergies or anaphylaxis
• Have an active skin infection or rash in the area
• Are prone to keloid scarring or poor wound healing
• Have had recent dental work or surgery
