Pre-Treatment Care

• Postpone treatment if you have a rash, cold sore, or infection in the area
• Arrive with a clean face—no makeup or skincare products on the forehead area
• Let your provider know if you’ve had any recent injections, treatments, or surgeries

Aftercare

• Stay upright for 4 hours post-treatment
• Avoid touching, massaging, or applying pressure to the treated area
• Refrain from exercise, hot showers, or saunas for 24 hours
• Don’t wear hats or headbands that press on the area
• Makeup can be applied after 24 hours if needed

Contraindications

This treatment may not be suitable if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have a neuromuscular condition (e.g., Myasthenia Gravis or ALS)
• Have an active skin infection or inflammation at the injection site
• Are allergic to any ingredients in Botox® or Dysport®
• Have had complications with previous neurotoxin treatments
