Pre-Treatment Care

• Inform your provider if you’ve had recent treatments, migraines, or other concerns

Aftercare

• Avoid laying flat for 4–6 hours
• Refrain from sweating, exercising, or exposing your face to heat for 24 hours
• Do not massage or manipulate the area
• Wait 24 hours before applying makeup or using skincare products

Contraindications

Do not undergo this treatment if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have active infections, skin irritation, or open wounds in the treatment area
• Have a history of severe allergic reactions to neurotoxin products
• Have certain neurological or muscular disorders
• Are currently ill or on certain antibiotics (e.g., aminoglycosides)

Additional Notes

• Over-treatment can cause heaviness or “frozen” expression—your provider will aim for a balanced, natural result
• Forehead tox is often performed in combination with frown line tox for optimal brow support
• Maintenance is recommended every 3 months
